आता भेसळखोरांना होणार विनावॉरंट अटक
मुंबई - दुध व अन्न पदार्थातील वाढत्या भेसळीस आळा घालण्यासाठी हे गुन्हे दखलपात्र आणि अजामीनपात्र करण्याबरोबरच गुन्हेगारांना वॉरंटशिवाय अटक करण्याचे अधिकार पोलिसांना देण्याचा निर्णय सरकारने घेतला आहे. त्याची अंमलबजावणी मंगळवारपासून होत आहे.भेसळीस आळा घालण्याच्या दृष्टीने कायद्यात सुधारणा करणारे महाराष्ट्र हे पहिले राज्य ठरले आहे.
अन्न पदार्थातील भेसळ शोधण्यासाठी संबंधित नमुन्यांचे विश्‍लेषण करण्यासाठी मुंबई व औरंगाबाद येथे दोन स्वतंत्र प्रयोगशाळा कार्यरत करण्यात आल्या आहेत, अशी माहिती अन्न व औषध प्रशासन राज्यमंत्री बाबा सिद्दीकी यांनी दिली. या प्रयोगशाळांमुळे विश्‍लेषणाचे काम तातडीने होईल, असे त्यांनी सांगितले.
मुंबई शहर आणि परिसरात दूध भेसळीचे प्रकार वाढीस लागले आहेत. येथील झोपडपट्ट्यांमधून दूध भेसळ अधिक प्रमाणात होते. पोलिसांनी कारवाई केल्यानंतरही गुन्हेगार जामिनावर सुटत असल्याने त्यांच्यावर कायद्याचा वचक राहिला नव्हता. याबाबत विधिमंडळात आवाज उठविण्यात आला होता. याविषयीचे सुधारणा विधेयक विधिमंडळाच्या दोन्ही सभागृहात पारित झाल्यानंतर आता हा कायदा अस्तित्वात आला आहे.
अन्नपदार्थातील भेसळीचे विश्‍लेषण करण्यासाठी मुंबई महानगरपालिकेची एक आणि अन्य 11 जिल्ह्यांत आरोग्य प्रयोगशाळा आहेत. मात्र, अन्न नमुने तपासणी करण्याव्यतिरिक्त तेथे दुसरी कामे असल्याने अहवाल मिळण्यास विलंब होतो. भेसळीचे विश्‍लेषण तातडीने करण्यासाठी अन्न व औषध प्रशासनाच्या अधिपत्याखाली मुंबई व औरंगाबाद येथे दोन स्वतंत्र प्रयोगशाळा कार्यरत करण्यात आल्या आहेत, असे सिद्धिकी यांनी सांगितले.

This will allow more corruption to Police people. Just last week I was talking some Police department people in India and found that 98 out of 100 join Police to make money. Only 2% think to do DESHSEVA.
Unless we change our basic thinking and working towards nation, any law making is not useful in India. It is actually giving trouble to innocent people and bad people get free

Better late than never! This law was needed for some time now. Adulteration of food or medicine of any kind is similar to planning a murder. The culprits do this in full knowledge of the fact, that the consumer will have some effect one day. The most unfortunate ones will die, others will be sick. Some can be even disabled for life. Some 15-20 years back we had a case of a reputed brand of oil/ghee product being adulterated and sold. The result was horrendous. Many died, most had skin disease and some lost eye sight forever. The punishment for these criminals should be sever, 20 years hard labour minimum. If any death occurs, then hang them. After all it was all planed and executed in cold blood. Also all the worthy goods/ property of the culprits should be auctioned off and the proceeds should be distributed to the victims. I am sure, these criminals dare to do such a thing because of the backing they have from government, or from people with money or both , hence are accessory to the crime and therefore should face the same fate. After all they do share the profits, why not the punishment?
The idea behind the new law is good, it remains to be seen if it will be implemented efficiently and judiciously or will remain only on paper us usual.
महाराष्ट्र सरकारचे एकुण रेकोर्ड पहाता आधीपासून अस्तित्वात असलेल्या व नवीन केलेल्या कुठल्याच कायद्यांची अंमलबजावणी कधीच व्यवस्थित व काटेकोरपणे झाली नाही!
त्यामुळे अन्नात भेसळखोरांना जरब बसवण्याकरता देशात पहिल्यांदा म्हणून आणखी एक नवीन कायदा करून कितीहि टेंभा मिरवला तरी त्याची नीट अंमलबजावणी कधीच होणे शक्य नाही.
या सर्व थापा आहेत!अन्न व औषध प्रशासन खाते कित्येक वर्षांपासून टेबलाखालून किती "खात" आहे हे त्या खात्याशी कधीनाकधी संबंध आलेल्याना चांगले माहित आहे!
गाजलेल्या "डोंबिवली फ़ास्ट" सिनेमामध्ये एका इस्पितळासमोरच्या अनधिकृत खाद्यपदार्थांच्या स्टोलवर पोलिसच खाद्याची फ़ुकट लांच घेतांना बघून राग आलेल्या माधव आपटेनी पोलिसांना जाब विचारल्यावर त्याचीच ते कशी पोलिस कोठडीत रवानगी करतात हे कांही लोकांनी पाहिले असेल! मग आता काय अपेक्षा करता?
