Valantine day is Sponserd Event which has turned into festival. Few people on the name of love should never be allowed to fullfill there lust and take Society for granted.

Celebrating a day for LOVE is not a problem I am all for it. But all I am not for is the wway in which it was introduced in India. Only reason why all the MNCs tried to make this day popular in India is to fill in there own pockets by selling their goods under the name of this day. That is what is dangerous.

Yes,we should not celebrate Valentin's Day.At least by the name of Valentin's Day.We shouldnt imitate others.India has a great history of love.See TajMahal itself is a huge example. We should celebrate Laila-Majanoo,Heer-Ranza,Bajirao-Mastani day.Thing is that we Indians like western things which are very shiny. If they would know about love then %of divorce woulnt have been more than anywhere.Dear Indians,I am also a student.First make your career then go for these days. Its just a temporary attraction.(in most of d cases,So no offence to anybody.)Love Indian Culture,Love Indians and Love India.
with warm regards,

I am a resident of US. I think Valentine Day is not a suitable tradition for Indian culture. Our society is different from Western society in many ways, and following the Western culture blindly conflicts with the Indian culture. I still believe that more than 70% population staying in villages and having conservative tradition, can’t just accept this. Out of 30% population living in urban area also, significant percentage of people would oppose Valentine day. I have stayed in U.P. also. In a country where girls don’t get out on the day of Rangapanchami in U.P and Bihar because of fear of getting molested, I think Valentine day is just a new excuse to molest girls in India.

The method it is celebrated in INDIA is not at all the method it is celebrated as said by Saint Valentine! Saint Valentine gave message of love to the west. Its not the message given by one lover to another!

Its been commercialized in INDIA by a minority who is ruining their own Saint Valentine's Message of LOVE.
