हिंदीला संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघाच्या अधिकृत भाषेचा दर्जा द्या - भारताची मागणी

हिंदीला संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघाच्या अधिकृत भाषेचा दर्जा द्यावा, अशी मागणी भारताने राष्ट्रसंघाच्या सदस्य देशांकडे केली आहे. जगात सर्वाधिक बोलल्या जाणाऱ्या भाषेत दुसऱ्या क्रमांकावर असलेल्या हिंदीला हा दर्जा मिळावा, म्हणून परदेशात स्थायिक झालेल्या भारतीयांनी तेथील सरकारवर या प्रस्तावाला अनुमोदन देण्यासाठी दबाव आणावा, असे आवाहनही भारताने परदेशस्थ भारतीयांना केले आहे.
"या प्रस्तावाला मान्यता द्यावी म्हणून इतर देशांचे मन वळविण्यासाठी थोडा वेळ लागणार असल्याने प्रस्ताव मान्य होण्यास विलंब होण्याची शक्‍यता आहे,'' असे भारतीय सांस्कृतिक परिषदेचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. करणसिंह यांनी सांगितले. आठव्या जागतिक हिंदी परिषदेचा काल (रविवारी) येथे समारोप झाला, त्या पार्श्‍वभूमीवर भारताकडून हा प्रस्ताव देण्यात आला आहे. करणसिंह यांना पंतप्रधान डॉ. मनमोहनसिंग यांनी या परिषदेसाठी विशेष दूत म्हणून पाठविले आहे.

भारताकडून देण्यात आलेला प्रस्ताव मान्य होण्यासाठी १९२ सदस्यांच्या आमसभेत दोन तृतीयांश बहुमताची गरज आहे. ज्या सदस्य देशांना असा प्रस्ताव द्यायचा आहे, त्यांनी राष्ट्रसंघाला देण्याच्या निधीतही वाढ करण्याची गरज असते. ती भाषा समजणारे आणि तिचे इंग्रजी, चीनी, रशियन, अरबी, फ्रेंच व स्पॅनिश भाषेत भाषांतर करू शकणाऱ्यांना देण्यात येणारे मानधन आणि त्यासाठी पुरवाव्या लागणाऱ्या सुविधा यासाठी हा अधिक निधी द्यावा लागतो, अशी माहिती एका अधिकाऱ्याने दिली. या बैठकीत परदेशी शिक्षणसंस्थांत असणाऱ्या हिंदीच्या प्राध्यापकांना मान्यता देण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करावेत, असा ठरावही मांडण्यात आला.

yes i agree with the statement that hindi language should given the status which is as important as any other language.hindi language in itself is very important language, because when it is the second language in the world which most of the people speak than i dont think that there should be any problem to acquire the important status as any other language. well i agree that it will take some time, but for a indian like me it is indeed a proud moment for us that our national language will get the status which is as important as any other language.

Language is nothing but the medium of communication & must be simple & easy to understand.
According to my opinion, Indian Government is not expected to waste our energy , time & money for this purpose.
Istead of that, they should concentrate on the question of Kashmir & Terrorism.
If hindi will get Global Acceptance, then What wrong the Chiniese, Japanise & other languages in the world have done?
They also come forward for their language's acceptance.
So, as per my view, you should pride to have a Indian, but every person respects his own country & Language of the same & also should not force his own language to accept.
This is my pragmatic vision.
