LOW FARE AIR LINERS : WHAT LIES AHEAD?
Indian skies are full of low fare air carriers. The price war has already entered into the domestic sector. Now, its time for the International sector! Indian (earlier Indian Airlines), Air India, and Jet Airways are flying with very low return fares on certain international routes. Now, Air Sahara came in. Yesterday it announced the sale of Delhi-London return tickets at a price of Rs. 10,000. Definitely, a welcome move by airliners, but will they be able to sustain?

Firstly, we should welcome healthy competition among various flights to enable people to reduce no.of hrs.travelled though reduced costs are with no frills.

Problems are there for sure like training for pilots to drive in fogs (Delhi airport problem making it like Bus stand without drinking water, food accommodation facility), then air-traffic jams, non-observance of schedules, not declaring right time of postponments thereby helding up passengers at airports.

It will reduce burden on Indian railways/buses, rather their passengers will be diverted.

Still, let us hope for good always !!!

Sakaal Blog is a very new concept for marathi news-readers from allover the world,
The 4321 sms service is also nice but i think the questionary you are choosing for the same is not appropriate, even other edition's of sakal papers, e.g. kolhapur, sangli didn't publish the same at appropriate page. They are not highlighting the same.

A welcoming move from airliners, cheap fares. And if its a war, then they will manage sustainability through various strategies to attract traffic towards themselves.
As long as the quality isnt messed up, they can expect good responses from the customers.

This is not linked to the airline item... but I strongly feel some severe action should be taken in the Ganga Teerth case. How can a builder who is approved by the PBAP go scotfree without a valid explanation?

Who is responsible for the lives that are lost? Why are law enforcers not saying anything?
