Sweet sound of wind chimes

Aishwarya Rai has is investing a sizeable amount in the 2.5 MW windmill project in Dhule. Also there is the Shrirang Nursing Home at Koregaon in neighbouring Satara district, that has installed two windmills to generate about 20 units of electric power each day. The idea is to connect certain equipments to uninterrupted power. India has a policy that 10 per cent of the country’s energy requirement should be met through non-conventional sources by the year 2012, but till date, the pace of progress has been sluggish. Will Aish help windmills to overcome the mule-headed attitude and red tape?

Wind energy is one from of non conventional energy and non polluting from of energy. It is good to see some is intrested in investing in enery related things which is basic part of human life, otherwise one would have invseted in profit making buiness. Today in energy crsis we need to generate energy from non coneventioanl sources, since one day conventional source are going to end.

It is interesting to know that Aishwarya has invested in Windmill. It leads to more awareness regarding Windmill.
As we all know that crude oil is going to end in near furture. As a nation we should reduce dependancy on oil and increase more on other resources. It is not enough to increase only awareness but also put systematic efforts towards alternative is need of time.

Oil and natural gas as source of enery is limited as per humal knowledge today. The earlier humans realise this better for the planet. We have been to self-centered in the past. We have destroyed forests and we don't care about the environment. All this shows that we as a specie don't care about our future generations.

Lets get our mind and heart around this. Well done Ms Rai. This should provide some much required inspiration to the people of India.
